Jack Harold Little
Jack Harold Little, 89, of Blacksburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
The son of Charles and Katie Little, Jack was born on November 9th, 1931. He married the love of his life Frances, upon his completion of service in the Army during the Korean War. Jack and Frances were active members at Hopewell Baptist Church. They provided a Godly home for their two daughters, Reba and Robin. They were a warm hospitable couple who enjoyed having friends and family drop by to visit. Jack entertained everyone with his antics. There was never a dull moment with Jack! Jack and Frances' home was full of love. There was always good food and laughter in the Little home.
Jack worked many years for Hamrick's Inc. He made many friends over the years of his employment and remained close to them after his retirement.
After his retirement, Jack spent most of his time at Hilton Head RV Resort, Hilton Head, SC. He was the "darling" of the Resort and affectionately referred to as "Daddy Jack" by everyone that knew him. He loved to fish and would drive his golf cart to the pier and sit for hours fishing with his son in-law George and a Pelican named " Fred". There was always a competition between Jack and the bird Fred, as to who got to keep the fish.
Jack is survived by two daughters, Reba ( George) Flores and Robin Satterwhite of Hilton Head, SC and sister Brenda Erb of Boynton Beach, Fl. He was blessed with 3 grandchildren Trent (Makayla) Satterwhite, George K (Christy) Flores, Melanie (Brice) Cole, as well as six great grandchildren: Aiden and Ansleigh Satterwhite; Elizabeth, Nicholas and Zachary Flores and Alyssa Cole.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Frances, two brothers, and five sisters.
