| Mr. Jack Horne, 84 of Shelby passed away at White Oak Manor of Shelby, Monday, August 21, 2012. A native of Cleveland County, he worked and owned Horne’s Supermarket for over sixty-one years. He loved his wife and pets and enjoyed cutting grass and playing cards. He was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late James Bartley Horne & Hattie Jenkins Horne. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Anne Greene Horne of the home, a special friend and caregiver, Beverly Lookadoo of Lattimore and his beloved dog, Pepper.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Cleveland Funeral Services, 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
