Jack Hutchins

Mr. Jack Hutchins, age 79, of Temple, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, GA.

Mr. Hutchins was born on June 29, 1939, in Almond, NC, to parents, the late Mr. Converse Hutchins and Mrs. Nora Dills. He was a veteran of the United States Army and National Guard and worked in the aerospace industry as a machinist for Lockheed Martin for many years. Mr. Hutchins had a great sense of humor, loved to have a good time and joke around with people. He was called and known as "Mr. Clean" by his work colleagues at Lockheed for his bald head. He was extremely friendly and never met a stranger. He enjoyed doing word searches and loved everything about airplanes. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed dearly by his friends and family.

Mr. Hutchins is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Mrs. Patsy Kay Noblitt Hutchins to whom he married on May 10, 1963; children, Bryan Keith Hutchins and Jackie Lynn Hutchins; grandchildren, Katlyn Hutchins, Robert Hutchins, Brett Hutchins and Garrett Hutchins; siblings, Margaret Earl, Johnny Hutchins, Brenda Jenkins, Michael Hutchins and Charles Hutchins. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hutchins was preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Gay Smith-Owens and his sister, Geraldine Green.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 1:00 PM, from the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eugene McBrayer officiating. In keeping with Mr. Hutchins' wishes, he will be cremated following the service.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service at 1:00 PM.
