Jackie Young Walker, age 63, of Ellenboro, died Friday, May 22, 2015 at Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born May 17, 1952 in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Victor and Mae Walker. Jackie was a member of the Barn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Walker; and granddaughter, Brittany Walker.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Walker; six children, Chad Walker and wife Lynn, Brandon Walker, K.C. Walker, Heather Greene and husband Michael, Kristy Walker, Kyle Walker and wife Brandy; sister, Barbara Towery; twenty-one grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 24, 2015 in the shop behind Jackie's house, 507 Ellenboro Henrietta Rd., Ellenboro. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 24, 2015 with Reverend Sam Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Southern Baptist Church Cemetery
