Jacquelyn “Jackie” Frances Bridges Sisk

Mrs. Jackie Bridges Sisk, 77, of 1108 Old Charles Road, Shelby went home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2013. A native of Cleveland County, she is the daughter of the late Colon Fred Bridges and Elizabeth Morris Bridges. She loved her family with a love like no other. She was a faithful charter member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church for almost 50 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and reading her Bible. She had worked in textiles for 44 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Bridges.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jim Sisk; one son, Jimmy Sisk of Shelby; one daughter Tammy Ledbetter and husband Clark of Shelby; five grandchildren, Olivia, Luke, Madison, Zachary, and Cade Ledbetter. She is also survived by her sister, Jo Ann Floyd of Shelby and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was kindest and sweetest wife, mother, and grandmother there ever was. She loved her family with all her heart. In return they loved her with all their heart. Her husband loved her with an everlasting love. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
