James Brint Lovelace
 Mr. James Brint Lovelace, 78, of 111 Lovelace Lane, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.

James was born in Rutherford County, NC on August 14, 1933, a son of the late Lewis L. Lovelace and Callie Doster Lovelace.  He was retired after 42 years of service as a truck driver with Fredrickson Motor Express and was a member of Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son Brint Thompson of Cherryville; three daughters, Kathy Perry and husband Steve of Shelby, Carolyn Verley and husband Mike of Cherryville, Deana Scism and husband David of Shelby; four grandchildren Jordan Robinson of Shelby, Jenny Verley of Cherryville, Daniel Verley of Mooresville and Matthew Verley of Charlotte; sister and brothers-in-law, Sue B. Ledford and husband Gene and Arthur “Butch” Bivens, all of Cherryville and Mabellean Simpson of Casar.

In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by his wife Jenny Grace Lovelace; sisters, Jetty Sue Hoyle, Anna Lou Holland and twin sisters Sabra and Susan Lovelace; brothers George and Deck Lovelace.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 1:45 until 2:45p.m. at Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church and other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 3:00p.m. at Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw officiating.
