Mr. James "Buster" Clarence Mann, 62, of Ellenboro, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Hospice House of Rutherford County.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Brenda Bright Mann of the home, four children, Kevin James Mann and wife Robin of Ellenboro, NC, Susan Marie Mann of Mill Springs, NC, Barbara Truelove and husband Rick of Ellenboro, NC, and Earnie Kelly of Fallston, NC, eighteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, a brother, Bobby Jolley and wife Teresa of Chesnee, SC, and a sister, Norma Corsey of Shelby, NC.
Born January 4, 1954 in Cleveland County, Mr. Mann was the son of the late Lumas Clarence Mann and Ellen Jolley Mann.
Mr. Mann worked as a handyman in the textile field. Buster loved his church family. He was a member of Ledford Grove Baptist Church where every week he opened with a prayer and scripture for his Sunday school class. He also ran the sound system for his church. He enjoyed cutting the grass and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by those that knew him.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Ledford Grove Baptist Church, 327 East Double Shoal Road, Lawndale, conducted by Rev. Jackie Price. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
