James David "Stretch" Lawrence, age 63, of Ostrich Lane passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at his residence.

He was born December 30, 1956 in Oakland County, Michigan to the late James Winfred Lawrence and Helen Nancy Nail Martin. David was a history buff and enjoyed watching history and science shows. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a welder and machinist. Stretch was an avid motorcyclist and loved to travel and spend time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Fay Mauney Lawrence; sons, Scott Mauney and David Mauney (Chasity); grandchildren, Shawn, Christian, Randy, Ryder, and Kira Mauney; sisters, Cathy Ammons (Randy), Patricia Furr (Joe), and Annette Vontebel (Tony); ten nieces; and four nephews.

The family will hold private services at a later date.
