James Edward (Jim) Wilson
James Edward (Jim) Wilson, 80, of 503 West Lime Street, passed away Sunday, September 21st, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Blacksburg, he was the husband of Joyce Moore Wilson and the son of the late Ed and Vera Hardin Wilson. Mr. Wilson retired as a boom truck operator at a paper mill and was a member of Blacksburg Church of God.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Wilson is survived by three sons, Jamie Wilson, Eddie Moore and wife, Shirley, and Barry Moore, all of Blacksburg; two daughters, Cathy Fowler and husband, Robert, and Dawn Sullivan, both of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Marcus Moore of Blacksburg and Layton Sullivan of Gaffney; and five great-grandchildren., 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by a grandson, Todd Moore, a brother, Gene Wilson, and a sister, Catherine Earls. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 24th, 2014, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Blacksburg Church of God. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. James Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Dawn Sullivan, 166 Foxfire Drive, Gaffney, SC 29340.
