James Edward “Jimmy” Reynolds, age 84, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospital, Kings Mtn. NC. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late C. S. “Bud” Reynolds and Lillie Eaker Reynolds.  He was also preceded in death by brothers, Pat Reynolds, Thomas Reynolds, Roy Reynolds, Floyd Reynolds, and Carl Reynolds.  He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where he was a member of the Pal Sunday School Class,   Charter member of the Bethlehem Fire Department and served in the United States Army during World War II in Japan.  He was Co-owner of Bethlehem Piping and Welding and a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Daughters: Nancy Reynolds Hughes and husband Jackie, Kings Mtn. NC

Sherry Reynolds Byars and husband Bob, Kings Mtn. NC

Sisters: Moree Grayson, Greensboro, NC

Colleen Tate and husband Fred, Kings Mtn. NC 

4 Grandchildren: Eric Blanton and wife Beth; Christie Dresbach and husband Aaron; Heather Hughes and fiancé Matt Stevenson; Amy Sahms and husband Will.

7 Great Grandchildren: Tristan, Taylor, Dolan, Ellie, Isabelle, Gavin, and Jack.

VISITATION:  1:00 – 2:30 P.M. Wednesday afternoon, March 9, 2011 prior to the service in the Christian Activities Center of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
