Cherryville - Mr. James Edward Wall, 81, of 313 White Street, passed away on
Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.

Mr. Wall was born in Wilson, NC on December 3, 1934, a son of the late Eddie
Paul Wall and Beatrice Lewis Wall. He was retired from textiles as a fixer
and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lina Mae
Pilkington Wall and a son, Paul Wall.

Survivors include, four sons, Joey Wall of Lincolnton; Randall Wall of Mt.
Airy; Terry Wall and Billy Wall of Cherryville; two daughters, Judy Hester
and Ann Burchfield both of Cherryville; step-mother, Rosella Kirksey; four
brothers, Charles Wall; Steve Wall of Winston Salem; David Wall of Dallas
and Ricky Wall of Gastonia; 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service and at other times the
family will be at the home.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at
Westview Gardens in Bessemer City with the Rev. Rick Ivey officiating.

Burial will be at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.
