James Eldon Rippy, 72, of Denver, NC, and formerly of Blacksburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord, February 1, 2013, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby, NC. He was the son of the late Frank Eldon and Ruth Camp Rippy. James served in the US Army and was an associate of Carolina Brush Company. He was a member of Denver Baptist Church, Denver, NC.
He is survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 4, 2013, from 2-3:00 PM, at Denver Baptist Church, Denver, NC, with a Celebration Of Life Service beginning at 3:00 PM, with Dr. Chris Griggs and Rev. Jay Clever officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Paran Baptist Church Cemetery, Blacksburg, SC, at 5:00 PM. At other times, the family will be at the home of Sarah Bridges, 799 Holly Ridge Road, Blacksburg, SC.
