Born in Cleveland County, he is a son of James Larry Sisk and Mary McLaurin Sisk. Eric is a member of Redeemed Pentecostal Holiness Church and worked for Harvest Works.

Eric was preceded in death by sisters, Angela Hill and Gail Walker.

In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his life long girlfriend, Sarah Bumgardner; brothers and sisters-in-law,  Keith & Tina Patterson of Lincolnton, Justin & Cassandra Sisk of Lawndale, Doug & Angela Sisk of Lawndale, Ronald & Crystal Sisk of Ranlo, and Brandon Spurling of Fallston,; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy & Thad Cook of Lawndale, Tammy Ford & Kenny Helms of Kings Mountain, and  Melissa Spurling of Monroe.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday at Stamey Funeral Home in Fallston.

The funeral will be 2 pm Thursday at Redeemed Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Coye Sanders officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
