MOORESBORO -- James Howard "Snook" Cromer, 85, passed away June 17, 2018.
A native of Chesnee, SC, he was the loving husband to Betty Houser Cromer and the son of the late Cleo Cromer Sr. and Emily Parris Keeter. He was an electrician, a Boy Scout Leader and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Mooresboro.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Vicky Cromer Jones (Davey) of Mooresboro; sister, Linda Keeter Hawkins (Robert) of Ellenboro; grandchildren, Lesly Jones Gibbon (Andy) of Shelby and Emily Cromer Macon (Daniel) of Mooresboro; and great-grandchildren, Jace Gibbon, Hudson Gibbon,
Ady Macon and Parker Macon.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Richard Cromer and brother, Cleo Cromer, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 10 until 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Mooresboro. Funeral services will immediately follow in the church chapel at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kevin Hamrick officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
