Born January 6, 1988 in Cleveland County, he was a son of James Michael Lewis, Sr. of Lawndale and Mary Jane Williams of Shelby.  He worked for Asplundh and was a member of Fallston Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is survived by four sons, Jacob Michael Lewis, Ethan Carter Lewis, Elijah Cole Lewis and Noah James Lewis; grandparents, James and Joanne Lewis of Shelby and Ann Williams of Fallston; sister, Emily Marie Lewis of Shelby, two nephews, Ayden and Bryson Bess, and mother of his children, Julia Nicole Day.

Visitation: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Friday at Fallston Baptist Church

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Friday at Fallston Baptist Church

Officiating: Rev. David Blanton and Rev. Chase Thompson

Burial: will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston
