James "Jim" Franklin Beam, 80, of Warlick Road, Lawndale, passed away
Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at his home.

He was born in Cleveland County on October 18, 1934, to the late Boyd Cline
Beam and Mary Maude Brackett Beam. He was a self-employed dairy & beef
cattle farmer. He was also a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Jim
enjoyed spending time and was well know for his tomatoes.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean
Grigg Beam and brother, Dwight Beam.

He is survived by Melinda Lattimore and husband Chip of Lawndale; sister,
Janice Conner of Charlotte; three grandchildren Jimmy Lattimore and wife,
Wendy, Barbara Lattimore and fiance, Chad Blevins, and Codie Lattimore and
boyfriend, Kurt Lashua; step great grandchild, Easton Theis; dear family
friend, Michael Ray; and his companion, Jack.

The family will hold a graveside service on 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Rose Hill
Memorial Park, Fallston, with the Rev. Robert Goins officiating.

At other times the family will be at the home of Jimmy & Wendy Lattimore,
429 Warlick Road, Lawndale, NC.
