Vale - James Lee Tallent, 70 of 1972 Boulanger Way passed away September 5,
2014 at Carolinas Medical Center - Lincoln.

Born June 22, 1944 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Lee Tallent
and Mary Dale Tallent. He was retired from Century Furniture Company as a
supervisor and was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy
Tallent and James Tallent, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sue Williams Tallent; two sons, Kenneth
Tallent of Vale and James Edward Tallent of Vermont; two brothers, Danny
Tallent of Vale and Edward Tallent of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Sandy
Tallent, Victoria Hamilton, Jessica Tallent, Bradley Tallent and Cody
Tallent; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, Saturday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home &
Cremation Center

Graveside Service: 5:00 PM, Saturday at Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery
