Cherryville - Mr. James Marshall Bowen, 69, of 407 N. Mulberry Street passed
away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in
Gastonia.

Mr. Bowen was born on April 7, 1947 a son of the late Byrun James Bowen and
Beuna McCraw Bowen. He was a graduate of Bessemer City High School and was
retired as a shipping/receiving manager and forklift operator from
Blackwelder Textiles in Cherryville after 39 years of service. Mr. Bowen
was also a member of Woodmen of the World.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a niece, Paige Watts.

Mr. Bowen is survived by his wife of 37 years, Helen Ann Bowen.

Services will be private.
