Janette Webb Hudson, 59, of Casar, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Carolinas
Medical Center in Charlotte after a long illness.
Born February 20, 1952 in Gaston County, she was a daughter of the late Jack
Webb and Dorothy Webb Sailors. She was a homemaker and worked for Cleveland
County Schools for 13 years as a bus driver. Mrs. Hudson lived for the Lord
and her grandchildren and will be missed dearly.
Survivors her husband of 35 years, Harvey Hudson; son, Robby Davis and wife,
Maria of Gastonia; daughter, Gloria (Cookie) Hoppes and husband, Craig of
Casar; brother, James Webb and wife, Diane of Lincolnton; sister, Denise
Edwards of Hickory; sister/sister-in-law, Diane Hudson of Cherryville; nine
grandchildren, Shaylyn Davis, Jullien Davis, Harley Hoppes, Jonathan Hoppes,
Tyler Hoppes and Auston Hoppes(Nikki Allen, Katie and Chelsea Houser);
mother-in-law, Zanie Hudson who she called "Mom" and many brother and
sister-in-laws.
Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Stamey Funeral
Home, Fallston.
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, New Home United Methodist Church , Casar.
Officating: Rev. Jerry Hudson
Burial: New Home United Methodist Church Cemetery
