Janice P. Grigg, 57, of 581 Jumping Branch Road, Blacksburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord, November 21, 2013, at home. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Grigg and a daughter of Ted and Dora Patterson Pennington of Gaffney, SC. She was retired from Musgrove Mills and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daugthers - Amanda Luna and husband, Guadalupe, of Gaffney, SC, and Samantha Calderon and husband, David, of Kings Mountain, NC; three grandchildren - Miguel Luna, Kenneth "Bubba" Luna and Eric Calderon; two sisters - Marilyn Crocker and Annette Upchurch both of Gaffney, SC; and one brother - Larry Pennington of Gaffney, SC. In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tara Calderon.
A Celebration Of Life Service will be held Sunday, November 24, 2013, 2:00 PM, graveside, at Clingman Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Grady Gregory officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4-6:00 PM at the Upchurch home, 154 Old McKown Farm Road, Gaffney, SC.
