Janice Williams Cook, 79 of W. Main Street, Lawndale passed away, Monday,
September 9, 2019 at her residence.

Born February 11, 1940 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late
Wayne Williams and Vassie Houser Williams. She was a homemaker and a member
of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, David Cook and wife, Shelby of Lawndale; four
daughters, Brenda Walker, Bernice Cook, Bonita Black and Barbara Cook; two
brothers, Buford Williams of Wilkesboro and Dennis Williams of Vale; two
sisters, Della Upton of Vale and Phyllis Lewis of Shelby; and numerous
grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:00PM until 2:00PM Wednesday at Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be 2:00PM Wednesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Norris Willis officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
