Janie Elizabeth Pope entered into rest on Friday, August 30, 2013. She was born October 16, 1951
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nell and Richard Pope; one daughter, Beth Nicholson; one sister, Betty Wyatt; two brothers, Boyce Pope and Ralph Canipe; one nephew, Mike Wyatt.
She is survived by her son Lee Nicholson of Bessemer City; partner, Randy Hicks of 23 years; three step-daughters, Michelle Hicks and Holly Atkins of Bessemer City and Brandy Guardado of Rutherfordton;one sister, Kay Broome of Belmont; two brothers, Pete Pope and Bill Pope (Ruth) of Bessemer City; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one niece, Cheyenne Wyatt.
Services are being handled by Robert S. Morgan, Jr., Funeral Service Licensee, LLC.
