Jason Edward Lanier, 53, of Faulkner Road, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of Forest Lanier and the late Sybel Pennington Lanier. He worked in construction.

In addition to his father, Jason is survived by his son, Jason Edward Lanier, and his sister, Crystal Osborne.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sybel Pennington Lanier.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 3:00-4;00 pm at Mt. Whitaker Baptist Church, 434 Mountain Street Extension, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will follow at the church at 4:00 pm with Rev. Michael Owen officiating.
