JB. Philbeck, Jr., 68, of 113 Crystal Lane, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at his residence.
Born in Shelby, NC, he was the husband of the late Kay Beattie Philbeck and son of the late J. B. Philbeck, Sr. and Annie Delores Kennedy Philbeck. He was a graduate of Kings Mountain High School, the owner/operator of J. B. Philbeck Roofing and of the Baptist faith. He loved his family, friends, the beach and was an Elvis impersonator.
Surviving is a son, Brian Philbeck of Gaffney; a sister, Sandra Crawford (Rob) of Shelby, NC; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, William Keith Philbeck and another brother, Steven Dale Philbeck.
The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until 1:00PM on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Blakely Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Brian Philbeck, Mr. Billy Richards, Reverend Rob Crawford and Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating
The family will be at their respective homes.
