Jean Greene Cline, 71, of 733 Lakehurst Drive, Shelby, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center in Shelby.

Born July 1, 1943 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Leo Hanson Greene and Myrtle Louise Mosteller Greene. She retired from Eaton Corporation after 25 years of service. Jean was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Jaquitha Edwards and husband, Doyle of Lincolnton and Jeanna Lynn Cline of Shelby; two grandchildren, Chad Edwards of Albemarle and Summer Edwards of Lincolnton; six great-grandchildren; brother, Ed Greene of Shelby; and two sisters, Doris Moss of Gastonia and Juanita Wright of Shelby.

Visitation: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday, Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston. At other times the family will be at the home of Isabelle Rivers, 731 Lakehurst Drive, Shelby.

Funeral Service: 3:00 PM, Monday, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston.

Officiating: Rev. Max Turner

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.
