Jeanette Barnette Mullis Twitty, age 89, resident of Casar, NC passed away on May 23, 2016 at the Testa Family Hospice House, Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Clover, SC to the late Campbell McCarter and Frances Lucy Guin McCarter. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, J. D. Barnette; Ira Mullis; Lawrence G. Twitty, daughters; Patricia Causby, Mary Ervin, Joann Stephenson, Nadine B. Davis; 2 brothers, and one sister. Mrs. Twitty was retired from Putnam Hoisery, Kings Mtn. after 25 years of service. She was a member of Sonrise Baptist Church, Southport, NC. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
