Jeanette Moser Jacobs

Blacksburg -- Jeanette Moser Jacobs, 86, of 502 W Carolina Street, Blacksburg SC went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. She was born on March 18, 1931.

She was the widow of William Dewey "Big Jake" Jacobs, Jr. She was the daughter of Pearl Tysinger Moser. She and her husband owned and operated Broad River Truck Stop for 34 years.

Surviving are her children William (Bill) Dewey Jacobs of Blacksburg SC, Diane Furr of Albemarle NC, Jane Jacobs Stancell of Simpsonville SC, Karen Irby of Concord NC and her grandchildren Noah Jacobs, Edward Jerome (EJ) Jacobs, Alexis Jacobs, Kayla Brooke Jacobs, Candi Jacobs, Jerry Wall, Katie Stancell, Missy Morgan, Kelly Roache, Vesper Menius, and Jacob along with 11 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 1st, 2017, from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Garden Temple Assembly of God with Rev. Danny Marshburn officiating. Interment will be Monday, April 3, at 2:00 pm at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe, NC.
