Jeannette Miller Letterman, age 72 of Earl, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 27, 1949 in Mitchell County to the late Howard and Melba Young Miller. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. Jeannette was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed watching sports on tv and especially loved the Carolina Panthers. She also had a passion for shopping including Roses and knick-knack stores. Jeannette enjoyed puzzles and taking scenic drives in the mountains.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Letterman; brother, George Miller; and sisters, Judy Hughes and Janice Strange.

Survivors include her two sons, Michael Letterman and wife, Shannon and Matthew Letterman and wife, Sharie; grandson, Justin Letterman; siblings, Joyce Stamey, Joann Frye, and Guy Miller; brother-in-law, Benny Letterman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at a later date at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Burnsville, NC.
