Mr. Jeff Anthony “Tony” Smith, 61, passed away on December 1, 2013 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.

Mr. Smith was born in Guilford County, NC on May 10, 1952, a son of the late J.F. Smith, Jr.  He was retired as a transport driver for Frito Lay in Charlotte.

He is survived by his mother, Aislee Collins Smith of York, SC; his wife of 27 years, Katherine Quinn Smith of the home; two sons, Terrence A. Smith and wife Cheryl of Lincolnton and Robert K. Lewis of Cherryville; a daughter at heart, Amanda Matney of Maiden; a sister Karen Newman of York, SC; six grandchildren, Allie and Emma Smith, Gage, Abby and Hannah Baxter and Robert Kelly Riddick Lewis.

Services will be Private.
