Jennifer Goodman Rippy, 44, died Monday October 7, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Born on June 10, 1969 in Wilmington Delaware, she was the daughter of Jerry Goodman and wife Janet of Winston Salem and Christine Thackerson Lovelace and husband Ed of Kings Mountain.  She was a great mom, wonderful person and will be missed by all that loved her.

In addition to her parents, Jennifer is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jack Rippy of Shelby; a son, Jay Rippy of Shelby; a step daughter, Anndrea Winfrey of Blacksburg, SC.;  and a brother, Greg Lovelace of Kings Mountain.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Joe Riley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
