Mr. Jerry Dean Bell, 72 of Shelby, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at his home.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan Elouise Bell of the home, a son, Jeffery Dean Bell and wife Miriam of Ellenboro, NC, three grandchildren, Abby Garlock and husband Brandon of Shelby, NC, Cindy Bell of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Rachel Bell of Ellenboro, NC, five great grandchildren, Phineas Garlock, Alexis Cook, Gavin Cook, Penelope Garlock, and Olyve Sutphin and his beloved pet, Fancy.
Born July 10, 1944 in Cleveland County, Mr. Bell is the son of Ellie Leming Bell and the late Dorse Hood Bell and was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Bell.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory conducted by Dr. Paul Sorrells. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
