Jerry Dean Martin, Sr., 74, of 227 Hickory Hollow Road, passed away on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022, at Spartanburg Restorative Care.

Born in Gaffney, South Carolina, he was the husband of Katherine White Martin and the son of the late Junior and Kathleen Martin Hambright. Jerry formerly worked in construction and was of the Baptist faith. He loved God, his family, and the outdoors. He loved his wife, Kathy, of 56 wonderful years. He was a loving father to Angela and Mike Mullinax, Michelle Martin, and Terry Downs. He was a loving grandfather to Jessica and Justin Pintoff and Derrick Martin, great-grandfather to Maggie and Cayden Pintoff and his brothers, Leonard Martin and Buddy Wayne Hambright, and his sister, Kim Duckett.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Cat and Junior Hambright, his son, Jerry Martin Jr., his daughter, Tracy Downs, his brother, Ricky Hambright, and his sister, Linda Hodge.

Cryptside services will be Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Clingman Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 1219 East Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC with Rev. Gregg Martin officiating. Mike Mullinax, Justin intoff, Cayden Pintoff, Gerry Downs, Tyler Terry, and Scottie English. Honorary Pallbearer is Derrick Martin.

The family will be at the residence at 227 Hickory Hollow Road, Blacksburg, SC.
