Jerry Elam Webb, 74, of Lawndale, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at home.

Born in Cleveland County, on July 17, 1949, he was a son of the late Debro Webb and Alma Pearson Webb. He was retired from the US Postal Service and also served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Jerry was also a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church, the AMVETS, DAV and the Marine Corp League.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, James "Turkey" Webb and Pete Webb and a sister Katherine Webb.

He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Judith "Judy" Paxton Webb; a son, Kevin Webb and significant other Katie Gregory of Willow Spring; a daughter, Christy Webb of Fuquay-Varina; two step-sons, Kelly Philbeck and wife Susan of Stanley and Jacob Philbeck and fiancée Donna Slater of Fallston; sister, Jeanette Frances of Boiling Springs; five grandchildren, Travis Webb, Caroline Philbeck, Carson Philbeck, Zoee Philbeck and Sarah Gregory.

The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.

The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Rose Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Keith Dixon officiating with military graveside rites.
