Jerry Franklin Wylie
Jerry Franklin Wylie, 64, 132 Owensby Drive, Blacksburg, SC,  went home to be with the Lord June 5, 2013, while a patient at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital, Charleston, SC.  Jerry is the loving husband of Donna Rape Wylie and a son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Virgie Wright Wylie.  He was a maintenance supervisor with Nestle's for many years.  He was a member of New Harvest Church of God.  He loved his family, church family, friends, camping, working outdoors and tractors.  He was an all-round handyman. 
 
In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by two daughters - Lori Ogle and husband, Ricky, and Melissa Cody and husband, Wayne, all of Blacksburg, SC;  four grandsons - Blake Ogle, Austin Ogle, Parker Cody and Matthew Cody all of Blacksburg, SC;  three sisters - Deloris Harvey of Blacksburg, SC, Brenda Elmore of Gaffney, SC, and Sue Reale of Pennsylvania; and two brothers - Aaron Wylie of Hickory, NC, and Reginald Wylie of Gaffney, SC.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two siblings - Betty Page and Lyman Wylie.
 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013, 11:00 AM, graveside at Clingman Memorial Gardens, with Revs. Robert Wells and Michael Perry officiating.  The family will receive friends at the home. 
Active Pallbearers serving are Dennis Goodrich, Albert Moss, Kirk Robinson, Ashby Pruitt, Jason Sparks and Mark Hope.  Honorary Pallbearers are Terry Stacy, Phil Brafford and Roosevelt Leggit.
