Jerry Joe Felmet, 66, of Bentgrass Lane, Vale, passed away Monday, May 2,
2016 at Peak Resources in Cherryville.

Jerry was born in Cleveland County on March 11, 1950 to the late Carl
William Felmet and Bertha Wright Felmet. He was retired from Century Case
Goods, Hickory and was a member of Laurel Hill United Methodist Church where
he served as an usher for many years.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, WC
Felmet and Dale Felmet and two sisters, Sue Randall and Margaret May.

He is survived by two sisters, Ruth Willis of Vale and Maggie Willis of
Lawndale, numerous loving nieces and nephews, and his dog, Toby.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Thursday in the
sanctuary at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Laurel Hill United
Methodist Church with Rev. Cathy Turman officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Laurel Hill United Methodist
Church Cemetery.
