Mr. Jerry Leonard Allred, Sr., 80 of Lattimore, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carolyn McCurry Allred of the home, three children, Jerry Leonard Allred Jr. and wife Sherry of Lattimore, NC, Michael Richard Allred and wife Alison of High Point, NC, and Stephen Scott Allred and wife Annette of Sylva, NC, four grandchildren, Paige Elizabeth Allred, Samantha Lois Allred, Kyle Douglas Allred, and Kevin Scott Allred, and two great grandchildren, Tristan Oliver Roberts and Amelia Paige Roberts.
Born May 8, 1937 in Rutherford County, Mr. Allred was the son of the late Hoyle and Fannie Daves Allred and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Karla Allred.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Drury Dobbins Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Chris Hensley. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the fellowship hall. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
