Mr. Jesse Earl Padgett, 84, of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010. Services were held at The A.C. McKinney Chapel. Burial followed in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Padgett was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Henry and Rosa Leigh Mitchell Padgett; and 1 son, Daryl Padgett.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Deaton Padgett of the home; 2 sons, Mark Padgett of Rutherfordon and Eddie Padgett of Carolina Beach; 4 daughters, Erline Splawn of Gaffney, Alice Conner of Mooresboro, Tammy Aldrich of Chesnee and Donna Wood of Forest City; 1 sister, Irene Henson of Mooresboro; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
