Miss Jessica Jean “Jessie” Pittillo, 31, of 232 Lily St. Shelby, NC departed this life on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.  She was the daughter of the late Hoyt Samuel and Debbie Plemmons Pittillo. 

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, Essie and D.H. Clay, Hoyt Pittillo and Frankie Mae Randolph; two aunts, Pauline Bullock and Betty Jo Gates and her step-mother, Lounette Pittillo.

Jessica is survived by her son, Alexander James Samuel “AJ” Walker; her fiancé,  William Phifer; a sister and brother-in-law, Samantha Davis (Bill); her grandmother, Jean Pittillo; two uncles, Mike Pittillo and Steve Pittillo (Robyn); a step-sister, Brenda Conard (Rick); two special friends who were life sister, Kimberly Champion (Tinsley) and Belon Huskey (Kira); her nieces and nephews, Malik, C.J., Kiara, Nicole and  é Samondria Davis, D.J., Arleigh, Autumn and Victoria Conard; an aunt, Sue Holmes; six cousins, Paul and Tracy Bullock, Joey Gates (Misty), Pamela, Brandon and Allison and a host of many other relatives and friends.

A service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Christ the King Church with Pastor Vernon Moore officiating.  A special thank you to Dixie Littlejohn, Donna Sutton and Christ the King Church family for their support. The family will receive friends before and after the service at the home of her sister, Samantha Davis, 325 Morrison Street in Shelby.
