Mr. Jim Lawson Kendrick, 92, of Shelby, NC passed away Monday, October 18, 2010. Services were held at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel. A Private Family Burial followed. 

Mr. Kendrick was preceded in death by his parents, Augustus Beam and May Turner Kendrick; 2 sisters, Aileen Ledford and Dorothy Lane; and 1 brother, Gary B. Kendrick.

He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Mae Down Kendrick of Charlotte; and 1 daughter, Gail K. Thompson and husband Larry of Charlotte.
