Jimmie Rodney Mabery, age 72, died Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center Cleveland. Born in Cleveland County on September 22, 1944, he was the son of the late Henry Edward and Latys Bell Smith Mabery. Jimmie retired from AT&T as a computer programmer after 20 years of service. He enjoyed going to Fatz and eating out. In addition to his parents, Jimmie is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kiser Mabery; a brother, Henry Edward Mabery Jr.; and a nephew, Dennis Edwin Porter II.

Jimmie is survived by a sister, Linda Mabery Porter of Lawndale; and a niece, Salli-Denise Smith of Columbia SC.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Zion Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
