Shelby - Jimmy Albert Ledford, 70, went to be with the Lord December 26, 2018. He was the son of the late Melvin Ledford and Darcus Horne Ledford.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Clifford Ledford and great grand-child Adrian Bruce Henson.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 49 years Christine Shehan Ledford one son Jimmy Dale Ledford and a daughter Crystal Henson and husband David, one brother Andrew Ledford and 7 grand-children Brandon Henson, Ashley Ledford, D.J. Ledford, Cherish Bridges, Chad Henson, Gage and Zach Henson.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 from 7-9pm at East Shelby Church of God 1921 E. Marion St., Shelby, NC 28152. Services will be 2:00pm pm Saturday, December 29, 2018 at East Shelby Church of God with Pastor Kelly Dodson and Andrew Dodson officiating the service.

He will be laid to rest at Community Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
