Jodie Lee Philemon, 66, 163 Wesley Drive, Blacksburg, SC, died Thursday, November 13, 2014, at home. Born in Union County, NC, he was married to the late Patricia Bell Philemon and was a son of the late Dorothy Philemon Walters. He was retired from Black & Decker and was of the Baptist faith. He served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by three step-daughters - Dawn Marie Long of Arkansas, Mary Elizabeth Brown and Amanda Rose Laster both of Clover, SC; eight step-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild; one brother - Ronald Walters of Kannapolis, NC; and one sister - Carol Zittlow of Harrisburg, NC
A Celebration Of Life Memorial Service will be held at First Freewill Baptist Church, Clover, SC, 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, with Rev. Marvin Carson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. At other times, they will be at their respective homes.
