SHELBY- Joe D. Causby, 81, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Edward and Sallie Porter Causby. Joe retired after 36 years from Esther Mill, and attended Westwood Heights Baptist Church.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Martha Camp Causby; daughter, Lisa Hubbard; three sisters; and two brothers.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving daughters, JoRene Causby of Shelby, and Robin Bridges and husband Danny of Boiling Springs; sisters, Margaret Lowell and Wanda Lewis; brother, Ray Causby, all of Shelby; grandchildren, Ashley Morettie and Michael of Hickory, Haley Rogers and Nathan of Shelby, Annie Dover and Pierre LeVan III of Vale, Rock Lane, Patrick Lane, and Preston Lane, all of Boiling Springs, Brooks Hamrick of Gaffney, Danielle Sisk and Michael of Shelby, and JonErik Hubbard of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Madison Morettie, Ayden Hamrick, Allison Smith, Lawson Rogers, Mikah Sisk, Gavin Sisk and Addison Hubbard.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Services will be held 2pm, Thursday, at Westwood Heights Baptist Church
VISITATION: The family will receive friends Thursday, 12:30-2pm, at the Church, and other times at his home.
BURIAL: Will follow in Sunset Cemetery
