Joe Edward Orr, 76, 13584 Smithford Road, Hickory Grove, SC, died October 23, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of York County, SC, he is the husband of Linda Waters Orr of the home and son of the late James and Wilma Parker Orr. He was a former butcher with Brown Packing. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He was a Mason. He loved hunting, working and gardening.
In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by two sons - John Wayne Orr and James Edward Orr and one daughter - Tammy Orr Smith all of Blacksburg; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister - Lucille Price of Gaffney.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 3:30-5:30 PM, at Unity Baptist Church, Hickory Grove, SC. A Graveside Celebration Of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 26, 2017, 2:00 PM, at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mark Dellinger officiating. At other times, the family will be at their respective homes.
