| Mr. Joe Wayne “Little Joe” Owens, 55, of Blacksburg passed away on May 13th, 2012. Funeral services were held at Cherokee Falls Missionary Fellowship Church. Burial followed in Hambright Cemetery.
Mr. Owens was preceded in death his father Joe Byron “Porky” Owensa and step-son, James W. Lambert.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Yarborough Owens and mother Evaleen H. “Bootie” Owens of Blacksburg; son, Joe Barlow Owens; a step-daughter, Shana Owensby; a brother, Shane Owens and wife, Nikki; a sister, Candy Kirby, all of Blacksburg; and seven grandchildren.
The family will be at the residence and at the home of Shane and Nikki Owens, 547 Bear Creek Road, Blacksburg.
Gordan Mortuary will be serving the family.
