Mr. John Broadus "J.B." Elmore Jr., 87, of 827 Casar-Lawndale
Road died Sunday at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby.
Born in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late John Broadus" Johnny"
Elmore Sr. and Inez Cline Elmore.
Mr. Elmore was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and a self-employed
mechanic.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Elmore was preceded in death by his wife,
Janice Wallace Elmore and brother, Ben Elmore.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Sandy Elmore of
Lawndale; daughter, Connie Elmore and special friend Randall Hendrick;
brother, Dan Elmore of Shelby; four grandchildren, Scott Grigg of Charlotte,
Wendy Self of Lawndale, John Elmore IV of Lawndale and Brandi Elmore of
Charlotte and three great grandchildren, Nathan Self, Cody Self and Madison
Self all of Lawndale.
Visitation: The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the
service at Stamey Funeral Home in Fallston.
Funeral: 12:30 PM Wednesday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel in Fallston.

Burial: Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fallston
