Mr. John Christopher Beason, 42, of 1908 Oakhurst Drive, passed away Thursday April 24, 2014. a native of Cleveland County, he was born May 12, 1971, son of Robert Gene and Doris Cochran Beason. He was a member of Scooters Motorcycle Club, a loving son, devoted father, and loving brother. He attended Cleveland Community College where he was about to complete his Electrical Engineering Degree, and he was a graduate of Crest High School. He was also a past member of Shelby Rescue.

SURVIVED: In addition to his parents he is survived by one son, Tyler Lee Beason of Shelby; one daughter, Christain Abbegail Beason of the home; one sister Annette Greene of Shelby; two brothers, Bobby Beason and wife Ellie of Shelby, Bill Beason of Caser; his aunt, Carol Harris and numerous cousins.

SERVICES: a funeral will be held 3pm Sunday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

CLERGY: Rev. Steve Putnam will officiate.

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Sunset Cemetery
