Mr. John David Kennedy, 71, passed away on Sunday, June 3,
2018 at Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville.

John David was born on April 2, 1947 in Gaston County, North Carolina, son
of the late J.D. Kennedy and Mildred Juanita Rudisill Kennedy. He worked as
a floral manager and designer at Harris Teeter at Stonecrest in Charlotte
and was former owner of Country Corner Florist in Cherryville. John David
was a 1965 graduate of Cherryville High School and was an active and
dedicated member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Cherryville

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Dean
Rudisill.

Survivors include his friend and caregiver, Sue Ledford of Cherryville.
Also surviving are a niece, nephew and cousins

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 12:45 to 1:45PM in the
Vida Dellinger parlor at St. John's Lutheran Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 2:00PM at St.
John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Ben Kifer officiating.

Burial will be at City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville.
