John David Lankford, age 70, died Sunday, October 2, 20216 at Belair Healthcare Center in Gastonia. Born in Cleveland County on March 26, 1946 he was the son of the late Raymond Timothy and Ollie Mae Gowens Lankford.

A private service will be held at a later date.
