Gaffney -- John David Thomas, 59, of 601 East Junior High Road, passed away Tuesday, March 7th, 2017.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late George Camp and Katherine Thomas Fowler. Mr. Thomas worked in textiles and was of Baptist faith.

Mr. Thomas is survived by one son, John David Thomas, Jr,, and wife, Jimi Allison Thomas, of Jonesville; one daughter, Monica Thomas of Rock Hill; two brothers, Terry Thomas and Steve Thomas and wife, Debbie, all of Gaffney; one sister, Kathy Fowler of Gaffney; and one grandchild, Jefferson Daniel Thomas of Jonesville.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Dean Fowler.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 13th, 2017, from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Memorial services will immediately follow at 6:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel.
